I am Sanjib Kumar Das, Art and craft teacher (fine arts). Having the degrees of BFA and MFA both from Kala Bhavana ,Visva Bharati University ,Santiniketan ,West Bengal.
Art and Craft is considered to be very therapeutic, where children feel calm and relaxed, while handling the brush and colour. We facilitate the children to enhance their imaginative power through their creativity. The Art and Craft room provides an ideal ambience for children to give forms to their thoughts.
In our school we give special training to the students with utmost care.Our drawing room based on an international standard education program for children which is divided on the basis of each class and age group , from nursery to class 12 th .
Here in The Ummed International School, the children not only learn drawing, but also they learn different types of painting like traditional art, contemporary painting ,conceptual painting, oil painting, charcoal, different type of experimental colour ,different types of traditional craft like lipane art, mandana art. Now there is a trend of recycling all over the world.Recycle everything to inculcate the concept of reuse among children from school level.By reusing everything, it tries to convey the value of each item. Children also paint on the canvas to their heart's content in different types of workshops organized every year. Workshop is to be done under each expert artist. Our school The Ummed International School believes that along with education, all other sports, drawing, dancing and singing skills should be properly developed in the children and we are committed to it.
